Join Us for a Special Eucharistic Adoration

20/9/2026

As part of the national Adoremus 2026 celebrations taking place across the country, our parish will host an extended day of Eucharistic Adoration on Saturday 10 October, from 11:30 to 16:30.

This five-hour window gives everyone a flexible opportunity to come and spend quiet time in the presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ. While parishioners usually take part for one hour each - answering Jesus' gentle request in the Garden of Gethsemane, “Could you not watch with me one hour?” (Matthew 26:40) - people are also very welcome to come along for just a few minutes too.

All are welcome to join us. If you have never been to Adoration before, this is the perfect, low-pressure opportunity to come along, see what it is like, and experience this prayerful peace for the first time. Please come and encounter the Lord.

Accessibility - St. Bartholomew's does its utmost to accommodate those with additional needs. Whilst the main body of the church is wholly accessible to people with mobility disabilities, the choir gallery is both approached by stairs and the seating is then stepped by design. The church has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities. There is a Loop System (AFIL) in place in the church.
