Catholic Prayers to Our Lord
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen. |
Sposób przyjmowania Komunii duchowej
Jezu mój! wierzę, że jesteś obecny w Najświętszym Sakramencie. Miłuję Cię nade wszystko i pragnę Cię posiadać w duszy mojej. |
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. The Confiteor I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. Glory be to the Father
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Prayer to The Sacred Heart (1) Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Thy love for me. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, May Thy kingdom come. Prayer to The Sacred Heart (2) O Sacred Heart of Jesus, we implore the Grace to love Thee daily, more and more (x3) Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like unto thine (x3) O Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in Thee. (x3) De Profundis
Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord: Lord hear my voice! Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my pleading. If Thou, O Lord, should mark our guilt, Lord, who would survive? But with you is found forgiveness: for this we revere you. My soul is waiting for the Lord, I count on his word. My soul is longing for the Lord more than watchmen for daybreak. Let the watchman count on daybreak and Israel on the Lord. Because with the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption; Israel indeed He will redeem from all its iniquity. (Psalm 130) V/. Eternal rest, grant unto them O Lord, R/. and let perpetual light shine upon them. V/. May they rest in peace. R/. Amen. Let us pray: O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of your servants departed the remission of all their sins, that through our pious supplication they may obtain that pardon, which they have always desired; who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen. |
Christ Praying in the Garden of Gethsemene (Hermann Clementz 1852-1930)
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of your love. V/. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. R/. And you shall renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, who has taught the hearts of the faithful, by the Light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen. The Nicene Creed I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, (we bow our heads) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. (we raise our heads) For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. |
