Today Cardinal John Henry Newman was Canonised (made a Saint) by Pope Francis. Vatican News has produced a recording of the whole of the Canonisation Mass from St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. It may be viewed on YouTube from HERE.
A relic of the Saint is will remain on display in the English Martyrs' Chapel at St. Georges Cathedral until 27 October. St. John Henry Newman's Feast Day is 9 October. Comments are closed.

Accessibility - St. Bartholomew's does its utmost to accommodate those with additional needs. Whilst the main body of the church is wholly accessible to people with mobility disabilities, the choir gallery is both approached by stairs and the seating is then stepped by design. The church has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities. There is a Loop System (AFIL) in place in the church.
