An Invitation to Eucharistic Adoration

21/5/2026

Picture
We’d like to offer a gentle invitation today - an invitation from the Heart of Jesus Himself. Jesus waits for us in the Blessed Sacrament. He waits not with demands, but with love, the same love that carried Him to the Cross, the same love that rose from the tomb, the same love that continues to pour out grace on each of us.

When we come before Him in Eucharistic Adoration, we come before the living God - quiet, humble, approachable. We do not have to be perfect. We do not need the right words. We simply come as we are, and Jesus does the rest. He looks at us with tenderness. He heals the wounds we hide. He strengthens the weak places in our hearts. He fills the emptiness we carry. He gives peace the world cannot give.

The saints tell us that time spent before the Eucharist is never wasted.

In Adoration, Jesus:

  • Gives peace to troubled hearts
  • Offers clarity when we feel lost or overwhelmed
  • Brings healing to our souls, our families, and our relationships
  • Strengthens faith and deepens our love for Him
  • Fills us with a sense of purpose, hope, and joy

Dear friends, Jesus is here, truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. He waits for you. Not because He needs your time, but because He longs to give you His love. When we kneel before him, he looks at you with love, he knows you completely and loves you endlessly.

So the Parish Adoration Team invites you to come spend time with Jesus in Adoration.
Bring your burdens… your joys… your questions… your silence.
Just come.

Let us be a parish that draws strength from the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus--
a parish rooted in prayer, filled with peace, and overflowing with His love.

  • There is Adoration every Friday from 10:30 to 22:00

May Jesus, present in the Blessed Sacrament, bless each of you today and always.

Amen.

St. Bart’s Eucharistic Team

Accessibility - St. Bartholomew's does its utmost to accommodate those with additional needs. Whilst the main body of the church is wholly accessible to people with mobility disabilities, the choir gallery is both approached by stairs and the seating is then stepped by design. The church has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities. There is a Loop System (AFIL) in place in the church.
