MISSIO

St. Bartholomew's plays a very active part in Missio.

Missio, formally known as the A.P.F. (Association for the Propagation of Faith), is the Pope's official charity for overseas mission.

St. Bart's parish has been involved with Missio for a great number of years. Around 100 families in the parish have the famous Red Box in their homes where loose change is dropped in and collected four times a year.

Some people also send money via direct debit. Missio magazines are given to each family.

Accessibility - St. Bartholomew's does its utmost to accommodate those with additional needs. Whilst the main body of the church is wholly accessible to people with mobility disabilities, the choir gallery is both approached by stairs and the seating is then stepped by design. The church has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities. There is a Loop System (AFIL) in place in the church.
