Planned Giving at St. Bartholomew's
During November 2019 St. Bart’s ran a Planned Giving Campaign. Over three weeks, Father Deo and PPC volunteers spoke about the need to enhance each parishioner’s commitment to the Parish by way of the three Ts.
Time: What time can we each give towards helping the parish experience, whether by running a coffee morning or by reading at Mass or singing in one of the Choirs. There are many opportunities to help in a parish as diverse as St. Bart’s.
Talent: We all have individual skills, so how can we devote these skills towards enhancing the spiritual and physical life of the parish? Are you an electrician, a plumber, or an accountant, or can you sing, play the organ, any other instrument? All these talents and more are needed within St. Bart’s.
Treasure: Our commitment to the parish extends to ensuring that the church buildings, the parish hall and presbytery are in good physical condition and that there are sufficient funds to maintain the full liturgical life of the parish into the future. In 2019 about £160,000 has been spent on much-needed improvements to the church fabric by way of new heating and lighting.
Below you will see the three separate leaflets that have been made available to parishioners during November. Please read these as they provide much background to the whole Planned Giving Campaign.
