Teams of Our Lady

Teams of Our Lady has a helpful Web site that gives greater detail about the organisation, and the video below shows more about their meetings.
We are an inter-parish Team part of a world-wide movement founded by a French priest, Father Henri Cafferel to bring together married couples and surviving spouses for mutual support, sharing our faith and for deepening our commitment to God and to our families.
We meet in one another's homes monthly to share a simple supper, to share our news in a completely confidential manner, to study a particular book, and to meditate on one of the Gospel passages from one of the masses in the month.
 
We pray together and finish the evening with the Magnificat.
 
We have plenty of laughter, and we do meet up with other Teams for pub lunches and picnics. We also attend an annual day Retreat and a birthday Mass and party.
 
We rotate the leadership of the Team occasionally.

Accessibility - St. Bartholomew's does its utmost to accommodate those with additional needs. Whilst the main body of the church is wholly accessible to people with mobility disabilities, the choir gallery is both approached by stairs and the seating is then stepped by design. The church has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities. There is a Loop System (AFIL) in place in the church.
